The image below shows a recent 1 into 2 subdivision project we completed for a small developer on a waterfront property in the eastern district. During the development and subdivision, Redland City Council required reciprocal easements to ensure that both Lot 1 and Lot 2 could access the waterfront area. Typically, such development subdivisions require the council’s development approval (DA) and come with conditions. In the image, Emt A and Emt B (Easement A and Easement B) are the reciprocal easements. In this project, we also drafted the reciprocal easements for the client, successfully obtaining council approval.
